Canted Coil Springs
Canted coil springs—also referred to as wire wound, slant, or seal springs—offer a number of performance benefits. They deliver consistent, reliable force across an exceptionally broad deflection range. While they are most commonly manufactured from 302 or 316 stainless steel, additional material options are available upon request. These springs also feature virtually zero compression set for dependable long-term performance.

Our springs are available in continuous lengths or precision cut and laser welded to meet your exact specifications. Standard stainless steel cross-sections typically ship in under three weeks, while custom alloys generally require a lead time of 3-4 weeks.

Garter Springs
Garter springs are typically manufactured from carbon steel or stainless steel round wire and are designed in a similar manner to traditional extension and compression springs, with the key difference being how the ends are joined to form a continuous loop.
Compression garter springs generate a contracting force—much like a rubber band—making them ideal for applications that require components to be held securely together. In contrast, extension garter springs produce an outward force, commonly used in sealing applications where consistent outward pressure is required.
Used across industries such as aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and oil & gas, garter springs play a critical role in a wide range of systems. Common applications include electrical connectors, motion and climate control systems, pneumatics, filtration, fluid and gas handling, sealing solutions, and electromagnetic shielding.
